Founder & Design Director
Stefanie
As Founder and Design Director of Indie Interiors, Stefanie leads the studio with a magnetic energy and hands-on approach that clients immediately connect with. She oversees every stage of the design process, from early concepts to final installation, ensuring each project runs smoothly and every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
Having built the studio from the ground up, Stefanie combines creativity with strong project oversight, giving clients confidence that their vision is being brought to life with care and precision. Her background in Biomedical Science and experience in sales instilled both analytical thinking and people skills. It is a rare mix that shapes her collaborative, client-focused approach.

Lead Interior Architect
JR
As an Interior Architect at Indie Interiors, JR plays a key role in shaping projects from the very beginning. He develops initial spatial layouts and detailed design presentations, creating fully modelled rooms that capture the essence of each space from the outset. His work forms the foundation for the studio’s design development, ensuring a smooth and cohesive process for both the team and clients.
With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture, JR brings both technical precision and creative curiosity to every project. He thrives on solving design challenges. JR loves exploring how people move through their homes and how thoughtful detailed design can make daily routines feel effortless.
OUTSIDE THE STUDIO:
Creative friends from fashion, film and design, plus the occasional Padel match.
What inspires you?
Waking up to the sounds of his kids — the only alarm he needs.
What’s your idea of “true luxury” in everyday life?
Coffee, preferably the instant kind (no judgment from coffee connoisseurs, please).

As an Interior Designer at Indie Interiors, Lauren brings a considered eye to every project, balancing creativity with practicality. She works closely with clients and suppliers from concept to completion, ensuring each space not only looks beautiful but functions seamlessly for everyday life.
With a background in Interior Architecture and over five years in the industry, Lauren finds joy in introducing the small, discreet details that make everyday living feel more tailored. Her passion shows in the way she approaches each project, sharing in her clients’ excitement as their vision takes shape and ensuring every team involved works seamlessly together behind the scenes.

Travelling, catching up with friends and family, long walks and art.
What inspires you?
An unrushed morning. Waking up without an alarm, enjoying a good coffee and taking time for myself.

The gym or a morning walk and coffee.

DEMIE
As Studio Assistant at Indie Interiors, Demie supports the team across client communication, procurement and project coordination. She plays an important role in keeping each project running smoothly, ensuring information and details flow clearly between clients, designers and suppliers.
Demie’s favourite part of the process is seeing a project come to life. She loves watching the transformation from early concepts to the final styling, where every fabric, finish and architectural detail come together in harmony. With a proactive and organised approach, she helps create a seamless experience for both clients and the team.

Junior Interior Architect
Daniela
As a Junior Interior Architect at Indie Interiors, Daniela supports the senior design team across the early stages of each project, from developing space plans and 3D models to preparing client presentations and technical drawings. Her work helps shape the creative foundation of every project, ensuring ideas are explored, refined and communicated with clarity.
With degrees in both Architecture and Interiors, Daniela enjoys the creative freedom of testing ideas and discovering new possibilities for how spaces can work. She believes design should be exciting for clients and takes pride in sharing that enthusiasm, turning concepts into spaces that capture their individuality.

Travelling and visiting new places, learning through experiences and visual inspiration.
What inspires you?
Enjoying what you’re doing and appreciating the beauty of the present moment.
